Spain profile
SpainWork is the Employer of Record service of Strong Law and Compliance, the firm long known as Strong Abogados. It is a family-owned, Spain-only legal, tax, accounting, payroll and immigration practice with offices in Madrid (Gran Vía 6), Barcelona (Rosselló 132) and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Its own pages date its start to 2000 on the about page and 2005 on the timeline. Pura and Tom Strong founded the firm, and their son Teo Strong became CEO in November 2025. Alongside direct EOR, it says it acts as white-label Spanish provider for other EOR and PEO companies.
The website is owned by Strong Law and Compliance LLC, a Florida company (EIN 45-1555444), which registered a Spanish branch on 22 April 2026: Strong Law and Compliance LLC Sucursal en España, NIF W0402435B, Gran Vía 6, 4th floor, Madrid, with Teo Rafael Strong Llorente as permanent representative. There is also a Spanish company, Strong Law and Compliance SL (NIF B44642593, Calle Fuencarral 139, Madrid), incorporated in February 2023 with share capital raised to EUR 355,000 in 2025, whose sole shareholder and director is Purificación María Llorente Sánchez. The EOR page says staff are hired 'through our local business entity' but does not say which of the two employs them. Neither appears in the Ministry of Labour's register of authorised temporary-work agencies (ETT), which Spanish law requires for supplying workers to a user company.
Its price is published: a flat EUR 195 per employee per month covering employment administration, payroll, tax filings and labour-law compliance, with nothing charged to employees and no setup fee stated. It says hires can start within 24 hours of Seguridad Social registration. Visas, Beckham Law, company formation and accounting are handled in-house. No G2 or Trustpilot listing was found.

| Founders and history | Founded by Pura Strong and Tom Strong. The about page says Pura Strong started the firm from home in 2000, while the timeline gives 2005 as the founding year. Teo Strong, their son, has been CEO since November 2025. An earlier Madrid company, Strong Law SL (2017, later Incwell International SL, sole owner Thomas Rushmore Strong Gruner), was dissolved in 2019. The register names behind 'Pura Strong' and 'Tom Strong' are inferred from these filings, not confirmed by the firm. |
| ETT authorisation | None found. Searches of the Ministry of Labour's ETT register by NIF B44642593 and W0402435B and by the name 'Strong' returned no entries (26 October 2026). The firm does not claim to be an ETT. |
| Model | Direct EOR with a published flat fee. White-label Spanish provider for other EOR and PEO firms (provider claim). The site also describes a 'direct model' in which the client registers as a non-resident employer with its own Spanish tax ID and the firm runs payroll. |
| Contract types and onboarding | The client supplies employee data and the employee signs tax Form 145. The firm registers the employee with Seguridad Social and SEPE, and uploads the contract, payslips and tax forms to its Tempo client portal. Hiring is possible within 24 hours once Seguridad Social registration is in place (provider claim). The EOR page describes the contract as the form issued after SEPE registration, a simplification, since Spanish law requires written contracts for most contract types. |
| Payroll and statutory | Payroll, IRPF withholding, Seguridad Social contributions and payment of salaries and taxes from Spanish bank accounts; benefits administration including holidays and birth leave; time tracking; termination compliance. It describes itself as an authorised Sistema RED provider for Seguridad Social filings. |
| Immigration and tax | Skilled-worker and intra-company transfer visas, digital nomad visa, NIE and Social Security numbers for employees, and Beckham Law (special expatriate tax regime) applications. The firm asks to be contacted before an offer is made to a non-EU hire. |
| Entry price | EUR 195 per employee per month, flat, covering employment administration, payroll, tax filing and labour-law compliance; nothing charged to employees; a cost calculator on the SpainWork page. No setup fee or deposit is stated. |

Strengths and watch-outs in Spain
- ✓ The lowest published Spain EOR price the directory found: a flat EUR 195 per employee per month, nothing charged to employees, and a public cost calculator.
- ✓ A Spain-only, family-owned legal, tax and payroll practice with offices in Madrid, Barcelona and Tenerife, founded in the early 2000s, with legal, payroll, immigration and tax staff in-house.
- ✓ Immigration and Beckham Law in-house, useful for relocating non-EU hires and expatriates who qualify for the special tax regime.
- ✓ Fast stated onboarding, within 24 hours of Seguridad Social registration, with payslips and contracts delivered through its own Tempo portal and Sistema RED filing.
- ✓ A path beyond EOR: a direct-employer payroll model, company and branch formation, and accounting, so clients can move to their own Spanish entity with the same firm.
- ✗ The Spanish employing entity is not named on the EOR pages. Two registered candidates exist, a Florida LLC branch registered only in April 2026 and a Madrid SL, so clients should obtain the employer's name and CIF in the contract.
- ✗ No ETT authorisation was found for either company in the Ministry of Labour register. Supplying workers to a user company without one can be treated as unlawful assignment of workers (cesión ilegal) under article 43 of the Workers' Statute, so the legal structure should be reviewed.
- ✗ The website owner and contracting party for online services is a Florida LLC under Florida law, and the dates on the about page (2000) and the timeline (2005) differ.
- ✗ No G2, Trustpilot or Capterra reviews; the only reviews found are a handful of Google-sourced reviews on a directory listing, with no published average.
- ✗ The EOR page's description of a Spanish employment contract as only a government form understates written-contract requirements, so contract terms should be checked.
